Kaeser Compressors Inc. announced the hiring of Ed Smiley as its new director of sales. He will lead the sales teams for all of Kaeserâs product divisions.
Smiley has more than 17 years of industrial sales and product management experience. For the past nine and a half years, he was employed by a European-based pump company where he served in various sales and marketing management roles.
âI am very excited to join such an enthusiastic and experienced team here at Kaeser," Smiley said.. "Together, we will continue providing the right solutions for our customersâ compressed air needs with the industryâs most efficient equipment and unmatched after sales service and support.â
Smiley received his undergraduate degree from Western Kentucky University and completed his MBA from The University of Kansas in March of 2010.
Kaeser Compressors is the U.S. subsidiary of Germanyâs Kaeser Kompressoren. Kaeser offers Sigma rotary screw compressors, Omega rotary lobe blowers, and Mobilair portable compressors to industrial and commercial markets in the United States. Thei company's120,000-square-foot facility in Fredericksburg, supports a national network of factory-trained representatives.
