RESTON, VA -- According to participating members in the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Assn. monthly Trend of Business Survey, cabinet sales for July 2006 increased 4.2% over the same period last year.

Stock cabinet sales grew 6%, semi-custom sales grew 3.6% and custom sales decreased 3.6%. Year-to-date sales show 10.8% growth, with stock sales up 10.5%, semi-custom sales up 11.6% and custom sales up 7.5%.

Participants in the survey include stock, semi-customer and custom companies whose combined sales represent more than 50% of the U.S. cabinet market.
