STOCKTON, CA — Jeld-Wen Inc., an Oregon-based window and door manufacturer, will close its southeast Stockton, CA, plant on Oct. 6, resulting in the loss of 126 jobs, according to Recordnet.com.

“We greatly appreciate the team effort of our employees in Stockton,” Rick Hetherington, Jeld-Wen’s senior vice president, said in a prepared statement. “We don’t know how much longer the building downturn will continue, and we’ve reached a point where we can’t justify keeping this location open.”
