KLAMATH FALLS, OR — Jeld-Wen, a window and door manufacturer, on June 17 announced its need to reduce its workforce, citing the housing market slowdown decreasing the demand for the company’s windows and doors. A spokeswoman for the company said that the cuts represented less than 1% of Jeld-Wen’s total work force, but declined to give specific figures. Read more.
