SPRING LAKE, MI – Office furniture manufacturer izzydesign has acquired Sweetwater Products Inc. Grand Rapids, MI-based Sweetwater Products is a high-tech manufacturer of wood-based office and institutional furniture and furniture products. Founded in 2001, Sweetwater Products has expertise in integrated information and manufacturing systems to make engineered-to-order products.

Reportedly, by the end of the year Sweetwater Products will close its Grand Rapids operation and move its manufacturing equipment and parametric information technologies to the izzydesign facility. Sweetwater Products’ 30 employees will have the option to work at the izzydesign facility as field associates of EmploymentGroup, an independent staffing company, with future potential for full-time employment at izzydesign.
