ATLANTA – Online registration for buyers/attendees is now open for the International Woodworking Machinery & Furniture Supply Fair-USA 2008. The show will be held Aug. 20-23, 2008, at the Georgia World Congress Center.

By registering in advance, attendees pay $15, a $25 savings off the on-site registration fee, plus receive the added convenience of having their badges mailed to them in advance of the show. Companies sending a team of three or more buyers to the show pay $10 per person.

More than 1,300 exhibitors will display the newest technology in machinery, supplies and services for the woodworking and related industries in more than 800,000 net square feet of space. Displays will include more than 200 foreign companies and more than 140 first-time exhibitors.

Online registration is also open for the IWF Technical Conference. This year’s conference will feature a full-day Industrial Wood Finishing Symposium: From Green to Lean and in Between, organized by IWF, Wood & Wood Products and the Centre for Advanced Wood Processing at University of British Columbia. The program, scheduled for Aug. 19 at the Georgia World Congress Center,  is sponsored by Becker Acroma, a manufacturer of finishing materials.
