- Furniture manufacturer Leggett & Platt's mattress equipment unit, Global Systems Group (GSG), will unveil a very high speed packaging machine with European partner, Merello Ingenerios at the wood industry trade show, interzum, in Cologne, Germany in May.

GSG says it has been at work on other new equipment geared to lean manufacturing, Kaizen methods, and work cell manufacturing,  as these approaches replace traditional large batch manufacturing to improve efficiencies in response to new profitability concerns.  interzum, a wood supplies industry show, runs May 25-28 in Cologne.
