LOS ANGELES - A large aluminum window, door and door frame manufacturer, with 26 locations in the U.S. and Canada goes on  the auction block June 21. Los Angeles-based International Architectural Group, which boasted revenues of $215 million before entering Chapter 7, will be sold as individual units, assets, or a complete entity.

IAG, operated an aluminum window extrusion plant in Waxahachi, TX, that served both housing and automotive markets, as well as interior door and window, plus exterior window and door production. Divisions included the Raco, IEC, and IWC brands.

Founded in 1957 as International Aluminum Corporation, the company expanded into a wide range of building products. Initially started as a single aluminum window manufacturing company, International Aluminum gradually grew to 12 operating subsidiaries, which have over 1,600 employees. In 2007, Genstar acquired it for $228 million.
