LAS VEGAS –Impressions Marketing Group

of Lorton, VA, received the Association for Retail Environments Above & Beyond Award for the second year in a row.

Impressions President and CEO Rick Gerber and Vice President Boe Young accepted the award during GlobalShop last month in Las Vegas. Impressions is the only company to win the award twice.

The Above & Beyond Award recognizes member fixture suppliers that deliver exceptional service and project execution to their customers.

Impressions was nominated by Eric Langone, senior director of supplier management and purchasing for CVS Caremark. Impressions helped CVS Caremark implement a chain wide conversion of more than 420 Longs Drugs in under six months.

Langone noted, “Impressions commitment to the development and delivery process, outstanding customer service and ability to react to extremely tight design, prototyping and production demands during the project is what sets them apart and what makes them one of our key strategic partners.”

“We are thrilled to be recognized by CVS for our project execution and customer service on this important project and greatly appreciate the nomination,” Young said. “This award is due to the hard work of so many of our associates, both on the sales fulfillment staff and in out manufacturing operation. Being recognized two years in a row by multiple retailers is extremely rewarding.”

Impressions Marketing Group was named Best of the WOOD 100 in 2006 and featured in the November 2006 issue of Wood & Wood Products.
