WASHINGTON – The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced that Schylling Assoc. of Rowley, MA, has issued a voluntary recall for about 3,600 Winnie-the-Pooh spinning tops because the wooden handles of the tops contain excessive levels of lead.

The action follows Schylling’s recall of approximately 66,000 spinning tops on Aug. 22. The products were made in China. No injuries have been reported.
