IKEA plans store expansion in China

ALMHULT, SWEDEN -- IKEA, the world's largest furniture retailer, said it plans to have 18 stores in China by 2015.

According to Bloomberg News, the company said its current eight stores in China will attract 27.3 million visitors this year.

IKEA reportedly plans to invest as much as $1.2 billion in China over the next five years trhough its Inter IKEA Group.
