DELFT, SWEDEN — Swedish furniture producer Ikea will create its own subsidiary to manufacture particleboard and HDF called Swedspan over the next few months, according to World Panel Industry. The new company will be an affiliate of its other production subsidiary Swedwood Intl AB, based in Ångelholm, Sweden, which Ikea founded in 1991 and expanded considerably in recent years. Read more.
