COLUMBIA, MD - Retails store interior and millwork firm idX Corporation says it will expand its décor capabilities in Maryland in response to strong growth in the sector, consolidating a nearby operation into the larger facility in May

"Office staff, project teams, print production and décor fabrication experts in Lorton will transition to the Columbia facility," said idX CEO Terry Schultz.

idX says it built out an area within its 435,000-sq. ft. Columbia, MD, plant, to establish a dedicated space for décor and graphics fabrication. The expanded facility replaces a nearby Lorton, VA, building, which is too small to accommodate idX's future plans for the décor segment.

idX manufactures retail, financial, hospitality and point-of-purchase furnishings and interiors. Specializing in wood, metal, glass, acrylic, vacuum forming, injection molding, laminate, veneer and material integration, idX has state of the art manufacturing facilities across North America, with locations in Europe and Asia.
