FRANKFURT, GERMANY — The International Committee of the Decorative Laminates Industry  has revised two of its technical papers covering cleaning recommendations and applications arising from the chemical resistance of the laminate materials. 

Cleaning of HPL Surfaces advises on cleaning methods in the case of “special” contamination, for which simple cleaning with water would be insufficient. Chemical Resistance of Decorative HPLs details applications that benefit from properties of high pressure laminates, including laboratories and hairdressing salons, and lists chemicals to which HPLs are resistant.
