Hyde Park Lumber and Design Center Showroom expansion nearing completion
CINCINNATI --

Hyde Park Lumber and Design Center recently expanded its showroom, bringing it to nearly 8,000 square feet.

“We have seen a lot of changes in our customer base,” said owner Mike Judy, whose great-grandfather started the business in 1902. “Although we have always catered to male customers and contractors, we are now seeing more and more women come into our showroom with their own list of requirements for remodeling jobs."

The Design Center showcases cabinets, paneling, mouldings, doors, hardware and more. of cabinet doors and hardware.

Big screen televisions feature rolling photos of completed projects in each of the mini-showrooms of the Design Center. One room is set up like a library, showing the raised-panel system Hyde Park has patented; another is a Cape Cod room with stained paneling and details as intricate as hand-painted cabinet hardware. There is also a his and hers closet.
