RESTON, VA — The Hardwood Plywood & Veneer Assn. (HPVA)’s Fall Conference has been scheduled for September 9-11, 2007, at the Marriott Salt Lake City Downtown. Educational sessions will include: a 2006 stock panel production update; a report on Section 332 Trade Studies for Hardwood Plywood and Flooring; cabinet manufacturing talks and panel discussion; a CARB Rule workshop; an adhesive manufacturers p­anel discussion; a session on FSC’s new “Controlled Wood Rules”; a regional distributors panel discussion; a tour of nearby cabinet manufacturing facilities; and a hardwood plywood grading and specifying workshop.
