-- The HON Company used NeoCon as a launching pad for its new Voi laminate desk collection.

HON describes Voi as "an integrated solution for multiple work styles."

“Voi was purposely developed for small and medium-sized businesses that are The HON Company’s core customer base,” said Mark Roumfort, vice president of product design and development. “The need has emerged in this segment of the market — as it has in others — to be flexible and adaptable for the unpredictable changes businesses are experiencing. One day a company is shrinking, the next it’s expanding. With Voi, we’re helping them respond and be ready for tomorrow and whatever workplace transformation may become necessary.”

The Voi collection is modular and comprised of a variety of multi-purpose components and materials. Worksurface options include four basic forms—rectangle, rudder, saddle and wedge. There is also a selection of supports, such as a simple O-leg, plus pedestal and cabinet options that incorporate storage. Additional storage choices let the user build vertically (both above and below) as well as horizontally from the desk and include: credenzas that fit neatly beneath the work surface, layering shelves, wardrobe towers, open shelf bookcases in a range of heights, and overhead cabinets—some open, some with doors.

Laminates are available in solid, mesh and wood grain; paint choices in 13 colors; door fronts in solid, wood grain or in frosted or textured translucent surfaces.
