SCHOPFLOCH, GERMANY --

Homag Group AG appointed Dr. Markus Flik as its future CEO and Hans-Dieter Schumacher as CFO in naming both to its supervisory board.

“We are convinced that with our two new board members we are very well equipped to continue on the company’s successful development path,” said the supervisory board’s Chairman Torsten Grede.

Flik was most recently CEO of Behr GmbH & Co. KG. He will join the management board of Homag Group AG as of April 1, 2011 and become its chairman as of July 1, 2011.

After serving 12 years on the management board and as CEO since 2009, Rolf Knoll will retire as planned, but will continue to serve Homag in a consulting capacity.

Schumacher was most recently CFO of Sto AG. He will join the Homag management board as of January 15, 2011 and replace Andreas Hermann as CFO as of April 1, 2011.

In August 2010, Hermann asked the supervisory board to terminate his employment agreement prematurely as of March 31, 2011 for personal reasons.
