PITTSBURGH — The Hardwood Manufacturers Assn. announces its slate of new officers for 2010. Elected at last month’s National Conference and Expo were: Pembroke “Pem” Jenkins of Turn Bull Lumber Co, Inc., Elizabethtown, NC, president; Jack Shannon, J. T. Shannon Lumber Co., Memphis, TN, first vice president; Skipper Beal, Beal Lumber Co. Inc., Little Mountain, SC, second vice president; and Linda Jovanovich, HMA, Pittsburgh, PA, executive vice president.

Also elected at the meeting were the following HMA directors: Eric Porter, Abenaki Timber Corp., Kingston, NH; Harry Rogers, Big River Cypress & Hardwoods Inc., Blountstown, FL; Jack Little, Keiver-Willard Lumber Corp., Newburyport, MA; Rhonda Kendrick, Kendrick Forest Products Inc., Edgewood, IA; and Owen Strickler, Virginia-Carolina Forest Products Inc., Lawrenceville, VA.

HMA directors also elected members to the Executive Committee. In addition to the officers, they are: Alan Kitchens, Kitchens Brothers Mfg. Co., Hazlehurst, MS; Nancy Arend, Weyerhaeuser Hardwoods, Federal Way, WA; John Jones, Ward Timber Ltd., Linden, TX; Bob Miller, Frank Miller Lumber Co. Inc., Union City, IN; and Terry Brennan of Baillie Lumber Co., Hamburg, NY
