Hickory handle sledge hammers recalled

WASHINGTON -- The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, in cooperation with White Cap Construction Supply Inc. of Costa Mesa, CA, today announced a voluntary recall of about 15,000 Brigade hickory handle sledge hammers. 

According to the CPSC, the head of the sledge hammers, made in India, can loosen and detach, posing a risk of impact injury to consumers. No incidents or injuries have been reported.
