MARLTON, NJ - Heartwood Installs, a woodworking installation company, recently launched an e-commerce site on Amazon.com to sell power tools, hand tools, saw blades and fasteners.

Janelle Ande, owner, says that clients have often commented on Heartwood's tools used during installation. And the installers themselves, she says, often go through a continuous review and discussion process about the best tools on the market to install architectural millwork projects, commercial casework, doors and hardware and residential cabinetry. The new Amazon.com e-commerce site allows the company to list its favorite and recommended tools for purchase by the public.

Ande credits technological advances in these power tools and hand tools with not only helping the company to install "beautiful and functional" woodwork but to meet "tighter deadlines and complete tasks on-site that once had to be performed in the shop."

Heartwood, an affiliate member of the Architectural Woodwork Institute, was founded in 2008. Named after the densest part of the tree, the company name was chosen because of its symbolism for strength, growth and core values.
