HOLLAND, MI – Haworth Inc., a designer and manufacturer of office furniture, announced a company-wide New Year’s resolution to improve the overall health of its workforce throughout 2007. The company offers a variety of employee resources that promote good health.

As of August 1, 2007, all Haworth locations in the United States will be completely tobacco free, according to the company. Onsite cessation classes will be offered to employees who want to quit using tobacco products. Additionally, an on-site fitness center at the corporate headquarters features cardio equipment, exercise classes, an indoor running track and personal fitness consultation by Bryan Boodt, Haworth’s wellness coordinator.

A number of programs are available to employees, including monetary incentives for completing the Health by Choice program, access to daylight and a view for all office workers, improved indoor air quality and a flexible working schedule. Read more.
