Halogen Work Lights Recalled Due to Fire and Shock Hazard

WASHINGTON — The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and Harbor Freight Tools have announced the voluntary recall of approximately 58,000, 500W Chicago Electric brand halogen work lights. 

These lights can overheat and melt. Posing a risk of fire and electric shock. Model number 30858 is included in this recall. “UL Listed E163392” and “Work Light 8F95” is printed on a sticker on the back, while the model number is printed on the light’s packaging. Consumers should immediately stop using and contact Harbor Freight Tools at (800) 444-3353, or visit www.harborefreight.com, for a full refund.
