Häfele Opens New Chicago Showroom

ARCHDALE, NC – Häfele America recently opened a new showroom to serve customers in and around the Chicago area.

The nearly 5,000-square-foot showroom is located at 154 W. Hubbard St. in Chicago. It currently features about 280 products on display, plus nearly 1,000 different decorative knobs and pulls. Five displays featuring Hafele’s sliding hardware systems are in place, with three more in the process of being added.

In addition to serving as a product and idea resource, the showroom will host monthly free Continuing Education System programs usually on the third Monday of each month. The first program, held Jan. 21, featured a presentation, “Innovation + Design Meet Functionality,” by Philip Martin, business development of Häfele America. His topic covered leading hardware trends that are emerging in Europe for kitchens, closets, home entertainment and more.

Upcoming CES programs include: “High Pressure Decorative Laminates: Never Better” on Tuesday, March 18, and “Reclaimed & Recycled Products for Wood Floors and Millwork” on Monday, April 21.
