HIGH POINT, NC –According to The Business Journal, a group of furnituremakers and the High Point Market Authority are planning on turning Pre-Market into a more structured event. Pre-Market is an informal gathering of top sellers and buyers that takes place several weeks before each of the big furniture markets. The event’s purpose will be to provide industry heavyweights the chance to see new offerings early so the manufacturers have time to modify their designs and samples ahead of the main market if necessary. The new Pre-Market will last for two days twice each year and will include an opening reception, a panel discussion, social activities and showroom visits. Read more.
