ST. PAUL, MN -- H.B. Fuller Co. says it acquired privately held Liquamelt Corp., an Ohio manufacturer of the patented Liquamelt adhesive system.

Jim Owens, CEO of H.B. Fuller, says the Liquamelt offers a unique technology that is "Cool on Delivery – Hot on Demand" and eliminates the need for hot melt tanks. "The technology is a new category of adhesives," says Owens. Liquamelt is said to be flowable at room temperature and combines with in delivery equipment to create a fast-bonding, high-performing adhesive, allowing room temperature storage and handling instead of the 350 degrees Fahrenheit for hot melts.
