Founder steps down as CEO of 20-20 Technologies

LAVAL, QUE -- 20-20 Technologies Inc., a company that makes manufacturing software, announced Monday that Jean Mignault, the CEO and founder of the company, will now become the chairman of the company’s Board of Directors. Jean-Francois Grou, the president and COO, will now become the CEO of the company.

“I felt this was an ideal time for me to take on a new role and for the Board to appoint Jean-Francois CEO of the Company, as it enters a new period of growth and expansion. The company has ambitious plans and I believe the energy, enthusiasm and experience of Jean-François, assisted by a strong executive team, make him ideally suited to succeed in his new role,” Mignault said in a statement.

Mignault also said his new role will allow him to focus his energy on the strategic aspects of 20-20 Technology’s long-range plans.

Grou has been with 20-20 Technologies for more than 10 years.

Mr. Jocelyn Proteau, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, said he was glad that Mignault had planned so well for his succession. “Jean Mignault’s vision and leadership, including his ability to develop a strong management team and an effective succession plan, with the full support and commitment of the Board, has been at the heart of this building process,” he said.

Based in Laval, Quebec, 20-20 Technologies is a leader in 3D interior design and furniture manufacturing software. The company operates in 12 countries and has more than 500 employees.
