LEXINGTON, NC – Fletcher Machine Co., a manufacturer of tenoners, edgebanders and other woodworking equipment, has been acquired by RP Machine Enterprises of Statesville, NC.

The company, now known as RP Fletcher Machine Co., employs about 50 people. The purchase included Fletcher’s trade name, equipment, inventory and all existing business. The company will lease the more than 100,000 square feet of plant space from former owner Ray Fletcher. The purchase price was not disclosed.
