SAULT STE. MARIE, ON –Flakeboard Co. Ltd. plans to use a $1.6 million provincial government investment to implement MDF technology it has patented, according to the Daily Commercial News and Construction Record. The technology is expected to drive down costs, increase efficiency and diversify operations at the Sault Ste. Marie mill, which produces the greatest volume of MDF of all single-line presses in North America.
