ELIZABETHTON, TN – Lewis Wood Products, a manufacturer of wood pallets, was destroyed in a fire last month. According to the Times News, the fire broke out at about 6 p.m. on Nov. 8; the building’s roof collapsed about 20 minutes after firefighters responded to the scene. The newspaper said it was the second major fire at the woodworking plant in the last 10 years. The cause of the fire was being investigated.
