Fine Furnishings & Fine Craft Shows Expand to Baltimore, MD

TIVERTON, RI — KL Communications announced its expansion to the Mid-Atlantic market with a third Fine Furnishings & Fine Craft Show to be held in Baltimore, MD. The First Annual Baltimore Fine Furnishings & Fine Craft Show will be held May 2-3 at the France-Merrick Performing Arts Center complex in downtown Baltimore.

“We created the Baltimore show in response to the request of a core group of our exhibitors who wanted an invitational show in the Baltimore/Washington DC area,” said Karla Little, show manager. “These exhibitors, primarily furniture makers, want a show they can rely on each year to show and sell their work to the client base in this lucrative market. The France-Merrick Performing Arts complex comprises a wonderful collection of restored historic landmark buildings which will provide a spectacular backdrop for our exhibitor’s exquisite furniture and accessories.”

The show will include approximately 50 exhibiting artists who design and handcraft furniture, accessories, fine art and craft. Custom furniture makers will make up approximately 70% of the show and hail from the Mid-Atlantic region, New England and across North America. All work will be available for sale, order or commission and the show is open to both wholesale and retail buyers.

The new Baltimore show is being added to the successful stable of Fine Furnishings & Fine Craft Shows currently held in Milwaukee, WI, and Providence, RI. The Fourth Annual Milwaukee Fine Furnishings & Fine Craft Show returns to the Midwest Airlines Center on Sept. 26-27 and the Fourteenth Annual Providence Fine Furnishings & Fine Craft Show will again occur at the Rhode Island Convention Center on Oct. 23–25.

Each of the shows feature handcrafted furniture, decorative accessories, fine arts and crafts designed and handmade by artists from throughout North America and from both emerging and established artists. The shows are open to both wholesale and retail buyers where all exhibitor work is for sale, order or commission. The shows are also a key place to source custom work for residential and commercial use.

Artists who are interested in face to face marketing to show and sell their work at any or all of the Fine Furnishings & Fine Craft Shows should contact the show office in Rhode Island at (401) 816-0963 or via email to [email protected].
