BELLINGHAM, WA – Paul Akers, owner of FastCap, a supplier of products for cabinetmakers and woodworkers, is running as a Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate in Washington.

Akers is challenging incumbent Sen. Patty Murray, a Democrat.
