ATLANTA -- Executive Cabinetry LLC of Simpsonville, SC, has become the first residential kitchen and bath cabinet manufacturer to earn GREENGUARD Children & Schools Certification.
GREENGUARD Environmental Institute (GEI) said this is the highest level of indoor air quality certification level it offers for wood cabinetry.
GEI said Executive Cabinetry's wood cabinets "are the first products of their kind to pass the rigorous chemical emissions tests required to earn GREENGUARD Certification. This means that the cabinets meet some of the world's most stringent requisites for low chemical emissions and contribute to a healthier, more sustainable residential indoor environment."
Some of the products used by Executive Cabinetry that earned GREENGUARD Children & Schools Certification, includ wood stains, glazes, paints, foils and veneers.
