EuroShop 2011 has 1,000 exhibitors and counting

DUSSELDORF, GERMANY -- More than 1,000 exhibitors from 46 countries have signed up so far to display products at EuroShop 2011, The Global Retail Trade Fair. That translates to more than 753,000 square feet of net exhibit space in 15 halls, according to show organizers.

EuroShop 2011 will be held at the fairgrounds in Dusseldorf, Feb. 26-March 2.

“The current level of exhibitor registrations is almost equal to the registration status of EuroShop 2008 at the same point in time," said Wilhelm Niedergöker, managing director of Messe Dusseldorf. "This is all the more positive since the situation in global retail is rather tense at the moment."

The trade fair will consist of four independent but connected exhibit segments:  EuroConcept (shopfitting, store design, lighting, energy-saving refrigeration and air conditioning equipment, the EuroShop Designer Village and the EuroShop Retail Design Conference), EuroSales (visual merchandising, sales promotion and POS marketing), EuroCIS (information and security technology) and EuroExpo (stand construction, design and special events).
