TORONTO – Police charged the driver of tractor trailer following an overnight rollover Tuesday on Highway 401 that caused a major traffic jam for thousands of motorists.
According to the Toronto Star, the truck spilled sheets of particleboard all over the westbound express lanes just to the west of the Yonge St. interchange at about 12:30 a.m. Tuesday. It reportedly took 10 hours to clean up the debris.
The driver, who was not hurt, was charged with careless driving.
