Delta Re-Launches Unisaw

JACKSON, TN — Delta Machinery formally relaunched its signature 10-inch Unisaw in a media event Jan. 7. The event included an in-depth tour of the manufacturing facility in Jackson, TN. Members of the press were shown key steps in the process for producing or machining various components used in the saw, which carries a “Made in the U.S.A.” label.

Delta product and department managers discussed features of the new Unisaw, which the company says was “re-invented.” These include: a one-piece cast-iron trunnion; dual cranks placed on the front; onboard storage drawer; a larger table with 15 inches of support in front of the blade; bevel gauge accurate within 1/4 degree; “Sure-Lock” crank lock; Marathon motor; Biesemeyer fence; bi-level dust extraction and a true rise-and-fall riving knife, Delta says.

The company also developed a new line of premium saw blades, featuring 18 full-kerf blades. One of the new blades will come standard with each new Unisaw.
