PRINCETON, MN — A downturn in the economy, reduced custom cabinet orders, a project that was canceled and another one put on hold were blamed for Crystal Cabinets laying off 100 of its 560 employees, according to the Princeton Union-Eagle.

Jill Crandall, vice president of human relations for the company said the layoffs were difficult to make, but that the company was working hard to find more work so they could recall the laid-off employees.
