LEESBURG, VA – The board of the Composite Panel Assn. elected its 2009 officers, as well as new and re-elected members of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors.
Dave Leding of Flakeboard is Chairman-elect; Louis Brassard of Tafisa Canada is Vice Chairman-elect; and Mike Blosser of L-P is Secretary/Treasurer-elect. Darrell Keeling of Roseburg will complete his term as CPA Chairman at the end of the year and serve as Immediate Past Chair in 2009.
Additionally, Jim Skinner of SierraPine was elected as an At Large member of the Executive Committee, effective immediately. Three Executive Committee members were re-elected as At Large members, including James Hogg of Uniboard, Zoltan Szucs of West Fraser and Will Warberg of Plum Creek MDF.
The number of Associate Members of the CPA Board of Directors has been expanded from nine to 12 seats. Newly elected Board Members include Linn Yeager of DSM Melamine, Steve Pung of Columbia Forest Products and Rob Schmidt of Arclin.
Three Associate Members were re-elected to the Board, including Pierre-Yves Couture of CDM Décor Papers, Mike Favreau of Powder Solutions and Elliott Savage of SEEMAC.
