LEESBURG, VA -- The Composite Panel Association (CPA) announced the hiring of  Corey Connors as vice president of policy and communications.

Connors' primary responsibilities include the association’s legislative, regulatory and environmental issues. Connors will serve as CPA’s lead staff on the association's Environmental and Public and Affairs Committee (EPAC) and the Industry Biomass Council (IBC), and will support other CPA communication, marketing and green building activities, reporting to President Tom Julia.

Connors has more than 10 years of association government affairs experience and most recently served as director of legislative relations for the American Nursery & Landscape Association in Washington, DC.
