Commonwealth Plywood Shuts Down 18 Plants

STE-THERESE, QUE – Commonwealth Plywood announced the closure of 18 of its plants in Quebec, effective July 1. The shutdowns affect about 1,200 employees, according to the IHB Fordaq Network.

The company employs 2,500 workers in Canada and the United States with annual sales of more than $500 million.
