CMA Wraps Up Latest Regional Event
LONG BEACH, CA – On Friday, Jan. 23 the Cabinet Makers Assn. (CMA) held a Midwest regional event in La Crosse, WI. WalzCraft, an associate member of the CMA and a manufacturer of custom cabinet doors and components, hosted the tour and workshop. The event was attended by more than 50 participants from throughout the Midwest and Canada.

The event kicked off at 8 a.m. with a complete tour of the more than 350,000-square-foot WalzCraft facility. After a break for lunch, Bob Thayer of EZ Stains put on a short seminar on finishing products. After the demonstration, Dave Grulke conducted his “Marketing for Cabinetmakers” seminar. Following the seminar, Joe Knobbe put on a presentation of “Working with Architects and Designers.”

This was the third Midwest regional event for the CMA and the next event is scheduled for May 15 in Nekoosa, WI. It will be hosted by CMA general member Per-Mar with the focus, “Green Manufacturing.” Contact Dave Grulke [email protected] or Joe Knobbe [email protected] for more information.
