CMA to test pilot CEU program at Cabinet Conference

The Cabinet Makers Association will preview its new Continuing Education Unit (CEU) program at the 2011 Custom Cabinet Conference, February 24-25 at the Charlotte Convention Center.

In a January 14 guest blog on WoodWorkingNetwork.com, Dave Grulke, executive director of the CMA, announced the association's newest educational initiative.

According to Grulke, the Charlotte event is a precursor to the full-blown roll-out of the new program at the AWFS Fair, July 20-23, in Las Vegas, NV.

Custom Cabinet Conference programs that will earn CEU credits include:
• Working with Designers & Architects (1.0 CMA CEU credits)
• Moving From Residential to Commercial Woodwork (1.0 CMA CEU credits)
• The Art of Pricing Profitably (2.0 CMA CEU credits)
• Hiring, Firing and Motivating Employees (1.0 CMA CEU credits)
• Making Dollars & Sense from Your Advertising Expenses (1.0 CMA CEU credits)
