CMA to Hold January Workshop in WI

LONG BEACH, CA — Cabinet Makers Assn. (CMA) associate member WalzCraft, a supplier of cabinet doors, drawer fronts and wood products, and the CMA, will hold a combination interactive advertising and marketing workshop, as well as a tour of WalzCraft’s facilities, on Friday, Jan. 23, 2009. The day-long workshop and tour is open to both CMA members and their guests, as well as other non-member professional woodworking firms.
 
The tour of WalzCraft’s 340,000-square-foot cabinet door and component manufacturing facility with host Brad Walz will cover all ends of production, with emphasis on rough milling and material grading, material (lumber) optimization, mass customization, craftsmanship and custom products, creating a “WalzCraft“ finish and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Following the WalzCraft tour, Bob Thayer, EZ Stain Blending System, will give a presentation focusing on stain technology for the industrial woodworking industry. The rest of the day will focus on advertising and marketing.
