WEST ALLIS, WI – The Cabinet Makers Assn. Board of Directors named Dave Grulke as its new executive director.

He succeeds Jim McDermott, who resigned from the position to pursue other opportunities.

Grulke, owner of Big Dave’s Service in West Allis, is a founding member of the CMA. For the past three years he has represented the CMA at numerous seminars and conferences and also has been instrumental in the CMA’s public relations campaigns and Web site administration.

In addition to his skills as a custom woodworker, Grulke has 20-plus years of experience in advertising, sales and sales management.

Sean Benetin, president of the CMA, thanked McDermott for his service and leadership to the association. “I would like to thank Jim McDermott for his selfless efforts in working with us to achieve several major goals we set for our association as our executive director. Those plans included streamlining internal operations, improving the content and layout of our quarterly magazine, Profiles, and upgrading our Web site.”
