Closets event embraces cabinet pros

LONG BEACH, CA -

Educational programs specifically developed to help professional custom cabinetmakers position themselves for the economic recovery will be featured at the Custom Cabinet Conference, Feb. 11-12 in Long Beach, CA.

The Custom Cabinet Conference brings together the collective talents and experiences of the Cabinet Makers Assn. and Custom Woodworking Business magazine. Executives of CMA-member companies will share their real-world knowledge for improving the efficiencies of their operations, from drumming up new business and cost estimating through design and manufacturing.

The Custom Cabinet Conference will run alongside the 6th annual Closets & Home Organization Conference & Expo™ at the Long Beach Convention Center. The Closets Expo features many hardware, wood component and machinery companies familiar to cabinetmakers and custom woodworkers. It will include a new Cabinet Products Pavilion anchored by the CMA’s booth. The Extreme Garage Pavilion should also be of keen interest to cabinet manufacturers.

“The Custom Cabinet Conference gives cabinet professionals a great added reason to attend the Closets Conference & Expo,” said Rich Christianson, conference director. “There is a close affinity between closet systems and kitchen cabinetry in terms of construction and fabrication. But there are also considerable differences in these products and how they are marketed and installed. This event will help shed light on those similarities and differences.”
