Chromcraft Revington’s Q1 sales decline 39%

WEST LAFAYETTE, IN – Chromcraft Revington reported first quarter sales of $16.7 million, a decline of 39.4% from the same period of 2008. The loss in sales volume contributed to a Q1 net loss of $3.2 million.

Ron Butler, chairman and CEO, said, “As part of restructuring, the company is transitioning to lower-cost product sourcing (from overseas) and repositioning its product line offerings, including the elimination of unprofitable and slow-moving products to improve profitability and to support a more efficient distribution business.”
