SHANGHAI, CHINA -- The Chinese wood-plastic composite industry's longstanding bottleneck is insufficient publicity, according to many of the experts who presented the recent seminar on "Wood-Plastic Composites (WPC) Promotion and Application."
The seminar was held in conjunction with Composites China - WPC Pavillion.
Seminar presenters noted that although the awareness of WPC was greatly improved by the Beijing Olympic Games, the World Expo Shanghai and other projects, that it still lacks solid mainstream consumer support. The presenters concluded that a stronger public relations campaign is needed.
