CHESAPEAKE, VA - Chesapeake Hardwood Products Inc. ceased operations of its plywood mill here on Aug. 15.
According to Building-Products.com, the company had been losing money for more than two years, due to the housing slump, competition from imports and the expense of a company realignment.
