OTTAWA -- Aided by a rebound in lumber and millwork sales, revenue for the Canadian wholesale building materials sector rose 1.0% for September, according to Modern Distribution Management. The building materials sector was boosted by a 3.4% increase in sales of lumber and millwork, which rose for the second consecutive month, and a 1.8% increase in sales of building supplies, following a 2.3% rise in August.
