RESTON, VA — Cabinet sales dropped 4.1 percent in 2010, to $4.5 billion for the year, according to the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Assn.’s monthly Trend of Business Survey. Stock sales decreased 6.7 percent; semi-custom sales were down 0.5 percent; and custom sales were down 13.2 percent, the survey found.

According to KCMA, December 2010 monthly cabinet sales were down 9.7 percent compared to December 2009. Individually, stock sales were down 5.2 percent; semi-custom sales decreased 13.5 percent; and custom sales were down 9.5 percent.
